About
Expanding Opportunity. Strengthening Communities. Improving Lives.

“Every family shares a simple hope: that the world will recognize and nurture the potential of the people they love. The Doodle Pirates Foundation exists to help make that hope a reality by deepening understanding, creating meaningful opportunities and building a future where every person has the chance to contribute, belong and thrive.”
Progress over perfection. Opportunity for all.
Our mission
To advance research, develop innovative solutions, and provide education and training that expand opportunity and improve quality of life for autistic, neurodivergent, and intellectually and developmentally disabled individuals.
The journey

A question became a bigger idea.
Doodle Pirates began with a simple question: What if we could build something that made people’s lives a little better?
That question first led to products and stories, but the conversations that followed took us somewhere we didn’t expect. We began listening to families, educators, employers and members of the neurodivergent community whose experiences challenged many of the assumptions we had about learning, work and opportunity.
The more we listened, the more the question changed.
What would happen if we intentionally designed a world where different kinds of minds could contribute, belong and thrive?
We realized that question was bigger than any one product, story or piece of technology could answer. It called for research. It called for education. It called for partnerships. Most importantly, it called for listening.
That’s where the Doodle Pirates Foundation began.
Today, the Foundation exists to keep asking that question and to turn what we learn into new possibilities. Through research, hands-on learning, community partnerships and tools like KENGO, we’re exploring what becomes possible when we start with the person, build around their strengths and stay curious about what comes next.
The journey is still unfolding. And we’re still learning where it can lead.
The team
The people making it possible.
A growing team bringing together research, education, technology, operations and lived experience to build more meaningful opportunities.
